[left]Jonas Reingold was born 1969 in Uppsala. He started to play the violin at the age of 9 and switched to bass guitar at age 17. He has after many years of music studies and lot of practice (MOFA masters of fine art) become one of the leading progressive/fusion players in the world today.

He has toured and recorded with several legends and greats such as: The Flowerkings, The Tangent, Kaipa, Tony Levin, Jerry Marotta, Pat Mastelotto, Niels-Henning Örstedt Pedersen, John Norum, etc.

Jonas is the music director of Karmakanic and is a proud member of the living legendary band The Flower Kings.

When you don’t see him on the stage or in the studio or playing with his kids, you will meet him in one of the many poker rooms on the internet, but watch your stack closely it can easily disappear as fast as it got there.
