Bio for Göran Edman


Born in Söderhamn 1956 . As a youngster he listened to the Beatles and progressive rock. Bands like Yes and Genesis where on heavy rotation on his stereo. In 1983 he was asked to join forces with the Heavy Metal band Madison. One thing led to another and after two albums he decided that it was time to move on. He was asked to join the John Norum Band in -87 and –Yngwie Malmsteen in -89 where he was a member for three years.
From -93 he freelanced as a singer with many different projects and recorded a various mix of albums but mainly metal oriented, but also AOR, Westcoast and Progressive rock.

During his escapades in the south of Sweden he bumped into Jonas in a bar in Malmö 1998. They met over a beer and he expressed his desire to play some genuine progressive music.
Jonas took Göran seriously and it did not take long before Jonas contacted Göran about his new project. They worked on the project and Karmakanic was born.
